Clare Tumilty is an Irish artist based in Belfast, N.Ireland. Born out of love for minimal style and neutral design Clare Tumilty Art was founded in 2021. Clare works with a variety of mediums and textures with a main focus on an earthy palette to create minimal timeless pieces that evoke passion and emotion.

Her work reflects her life experiences, the highs and lows of womanhood and the beauty of change and growth with a particular love for the Wabi Sabi aesthetic in which there is appreciation of beauty that is “imperfect, impermanent and incomplete” in nature. The piecing together of her artworks represent the piecing together of oneself through different experiences.

“I want my art to evoke a sense of peace of mind, of enchantment and sensuality and overall finding beauty in brokenness and coming back stronger than before.

If one person stops for a moment to view and reflect on a piece of artwork I have created and feels better than before then I have succeeded in my work as an artist.”
