Clare Tumilty
Clare Tumilty is an Irish artist whose work is inspired by a passion for minimal style, neutral design, and the quiet elegance of the Wabi-Sabi aesthetic. Since founding Clare Tumilty Art in 2021, her work has found it's place in homes across the world, been published in Architectural Digest, and has been commissioned by clients and interior designers internationally. Her pieces are recognised for their serene presence, earthy palette, and timeless, textural appeal.
Working with a thoughtful blend of mediums and textured surfaces, Clare gravitates toward an earthy palette that reflects the emotions, moments, and lived experiences that shape her story. Influenced by the Wabi-Sabi philosophy — the beauty found in what is imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete — her artwork explores the depth of womanhood, the steady progression of growth, and the resilience that comes from rebuilding. Each piece is intentionally composed to represent tranquility and the piecing together of oneself through different experiences.
“I want my art to evoke a sense of stillness, enchantment, and sensuality — a reminder that there is beauty in brokenness and strength in overcoming. If even one person pauses to reflect, connect, or feel uplifted from experiencing a piece I’ve created, then my work has served it’s purpose”
